Roman historian Tacitus wrote that many of his time believed that the Jews “were a race of Ethiopian origin.”

Persia and Ashanti
It has also been speculated that the Jewish presence and influence was greatly helped by the ancient gold trade between Persia and Africa.
Jews were the main intermediaries of this trade in the medieval ages since most Muslims (due to Islamic laws prohibition on usury) were wary of its usurious dimensions.
These Jewish itinerant traders came to rely on contacts with the various Jewish communities of West African who proved no mean help in sourcing the scarce commodity. Thus, for instance, the silk of the Royal Kente cloths of the Ashanti reputedly came from China.
Various historical accounts claim that Jewish travelers from Persia had organized exchanges of Chinese silk for gold in the Kingdom of Ghana; the Ashanti needed the silk for weaving Kente cloth and the Jews need gold for their intrinsic and fiscal value. Genetics
Haplogroup E3B
The E3b haplogroup has been observed in all Jewish groups world wide. It is considered to be the 2nd most prevelent haplogroup amoung the Jewish population.
All the major studies agree that E-M35 is the second highest in prevalence next to J, for “Founding Jewish Lineages.” http://www.familytreedna.com/pdf/Behar_contrasting.pdf.
It is found in moderate amounts in all Jewish populations, from Ashkenazi, Sephardic, Kurdish, Yemen, Samaritan and even among Djerba Jewish groups.
The scientific consensus is that Haplogroup E3b (M35) appears to have originated in East Africa, but has been carried from there to the Near East and then on to North Africa and Europe. Today it is most common in East Africa, North Africa, the Near East and around the Mediterranean.
Haplogroup J
Haplogroup J (previously known as HG9 or Eu9/Eu10) is a Y-chromosome DNA haplogroup. T is subdivided into two subclades: haplogroup J2, defined by the M172 marker, and haplogroup J1, defined by the M267 marker.
Of special interest are maps that show the geographical spread of the J haplogroup. J1 and J2 are both common in southern Europe, central Europe, the Mediterranean region, and Africa. The J haplogroup is considered to be a signature gene of Jewish ancestry and the cohen modal gene happens to be a subgroup of J.
In fact, the highest frequencies of J1 (M267) are seen in the Middle East, north Africa, and Ethiopia. See (Thomas et al. 1999). J2 (M172) also exists in significant proportions across Africa especially among the semitic speaking peoples of Tigriniya, Amhara, and Oromiya.
The J1’s from the Middle East and North Africa seem to be distinguishable from the rest of J’s by having YCAII=22,22. Behar et al found that a significant proportion of the Jewish population of Europe (more than 20%) carry the J1 haplogroup. The other 20% carry the J2 haplogroup. Cohen Modal Haplotype
The presence among the Lemba of a disproportionate number of men carrying a particular polymorphism on the Y chromosome known as the Cohen modal haplotype suggests an ancestral link to the Jewish population. One sub-clan within the Lemba, the Buba clan, is considered by the Lemba to be their priestly clan. Among a small sample of the Buba, fifty-two percent of males were found to carry the Cohen modal haplotype CMH, which is generally suggestive of Y-DNA haplogroup J, but notably prevalent among Jewish Kohanim, or priests.
Decline of the Black Jews of Africa
Many reasons have been sought for the decline and virtual disappearance of Africa’s once thriviing Jewish communities of black Jews. Many see the beginning of this decline as contemporaneous with the advent of the Islamic religion in Africa.
Some historical accounts highlight the fact that black Jews were die-hard nationalistic traditionalists and had led the black African resistance against the influx of the black muslim jihadists and their new interpretation of morality. The most notableof these black Jewish nationalists was Queen Kahina Dahiya Bint Thabitah ibn Tifan otherwise known as El-Kahina. A descendant of one of the priestly Black Jewish families of North Africa, Kahina led the nationalist resistance against the muslim invasion until her defeat at the hands of Hassan Ibn Numan. Amidst this tumult, the Jews of Northern and West Africa were given a choice of conversion or emigration. Many left for the deeper forest recesses of West Africa seeking the peace and tranquility that appeared to elude them in each generation. The late incursions by the colonialist christian elements of Europe did not make matters any better. There seems to have been a direct link between the incursion of relatively modern religions in Africa and the decline of the ancient practise of the Hebrews which had a pride of place in Africa, its mother land.
For instance the Jewish enclaves of Qamnurya or Naghira in the area of modern Senegal was destroyed completely in the wake of sectarian unrest. Similarly, Al-Maghili a prominent black Muslim noble not only destroyed the Jewish enclaves of Tuat in the old Mali empire, he convinced other potentates throughout the Western Sudan to banish Jews from the empire’s cities. Lichtblau speculates that: although “…Jewish presence is also confirmed by numerous surviving accounts of Portuguese and other European visitors in the 14th and 15th centuries, as well as North African and Arab historical records… gradually most of these communities disappeared. Since they existed largely in isolation, there was a good deal of intermarriage which for a while reinforced their influence and expansion. As a result they were increasingly viewed as a threat by Muslim rulers, and most of the Jewish communities and nomad groups south of the Atlas mountains were either forced to convert to Islam or massacred; the remainder fled to North Africa, Egypt or the Sudan, and a few also to Cameroon and Southern Africa.”

I can assure anyone who wants to know that the three world religion of Judaism, Christianity, and Islam have nothing to do with whom the Israelites and Hebrews are. In fact, what the leaders of these three religious groups have done is to continue to dope and decieve the masses into buying into their own ideas of religion. The pure Hebrew religion of Adama, the holders of the original spirituality, as well as the religion of ancient Israel is a way of life. It is not Judaism, Islam, or Christianity as they are practiced today.
I am not here to extol the Bible but I am sorry, the Bible is the only holy book on earth that bears concrete witnes to the Israelite Identity of the Igbo Bene-Israel and others in Africa. In my manuscript are about ten pages of the names of towns and peoples of ancient Israel found in the Bible and has existed long before the first European stepped foot into sub-Saharan Africa. So when I say that Igbo Bene-Israel have more evidence of who they are than the people living in Israel as Jews today, I am not joking. The Bible is the evidence. It is in this same way that I say that the Jews of today do not know, speak, or understand Hebrew. Remember, I am only a little man , but I challenge even the most knowledgeable or learned Jewish Rabbi or scholar to refute what I am saying. But one caution from me is that such individual should make sure that they know what they are talking about because I have more evidence that will embarrass any imitation Israelite.
The problem I have with the Arab god Allah is that this name is found nowhere in the Hebrew Sacred texts. If Isaac (Ishiaku) and Ishmael (Ishimaelu) are children of the same Abraham (Abia-Amar), why would the name of their God differ? I know for sure that the name of Divine father as the personification od Wisdon is Chukwunnam and the name of the Divine Mother as the personification of Understanding is Ibenne in pure Hebrew. These divine names do not appear anywhere in Koran or Islamic texts.
The closer that the name, Allah came to Hebrew is as Allah Ta Ala. Now remember that Alllah could be a different rendering of Ala. The world Ala, Ara. Ana, and Ani all mean the same thing depending on the context. It could mean either the earth or name of God on earth. For example, Oba ta Ala means “Lord of the earth” and I believe that Allah Ta Ala also means Allah of the earth. But regardless, if the Arabs call God of creation Allah I believe them, but I doubt that they related to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. I said this to shed more light into the conversation going on. The Igbo (Hebrew) elders say it is impossible to tell the Igbo story because Igbo are spirits. You may not understand this statement, but you will get the idea when Chiukwunna says in Isaiah 44-7 that no one can tell Him what has happened sin He established His “Ancient People” (Ndi-Gboo). You see, the Heroes of Igbo like Marduk (Maduka) of ancient Sumer were worshipped by the world as gods. There is no other way to explain this to you than to say that the Igbo (Hebrews) have divine origins.
The divine origin of the Igbo is why the early western Christendom – that “white supremacist machine” once taught that black people were on earth before Adam was created. They could not understand the mystery of God and the Hebrews. God is a Hebrew and that is why He is called the “Most Ancient of the Ancients”.
You just mentioned one of the priests of God Most High among Ndi-Gboo whom you called Melchizedek (Malachi-Ezedike). Melchizedek is no other than Shem (Chim), son of Noah (Nochie). Melchizedek is simply his Ozo (priestly) title. In Igbo custom to this day, once initiation into the cult of Ozo is complete, the individual is no longer an ordinary human being as he disavows worldly ways, and will be known and called only by the Ozo (priestly) title from the day the initiation is complete. The inability of the Jews to expalin what I have just said to the world means that the people known as Jews today knows very little about the culture of ancient Israel and nothing at all about the Hebrews. Unlike other writers on the topic concerning Israel, I am not asking the Jews of Israel to accept Ibo Bene-Israel as the Children of Israel, rather I am saying that they are the ones who should prove to the world who they are. They should start by speaking the true Hebrew language and use the original Hebrew alpahbets rather the modified ones they are using today. Yes, Amorites are Hebrews as well as Hivites and Hamattites. I know the Bible translators classified them as Cananites. If you read the first five books of the Bible properly, you will find out that the children of Israel were told, “when you enter in the land of the Cananites, Jebisites, Hivites, Hamattites, and so on”. You are right in what you are saying but I believe that Nwanne Di namba Ndi-Igbo, Ishaq (Ishiaku – Crown of wealth) has done a wonderful research which shows that Igbo were taken from Igboland and sent to many plantations in locations within Africa. In addition to Igbos shipped to the Western Hemisphere from the Igboland of Southern Nigeria, many Igbo slaves were also shipped to the western world from these African regions like those working in the Gold mines in Ghana for the Spanish, plantations in Angola where they have Igbo towns and Congo where they have Igbo cities like Ibondo, Iboko (Ibo-Oko), and Ibola (Ibo-Ala) and so on. The nation of Gabon is literarily Igbo nation as well as the Island of Venando Po. There are Igbo cities in Mozambique, Kenya-specifically President Obama’s people that answer pure Ibo names. Then, you have the Tutsis, Lemba, some in Tanzania, Malawi, and many other places in Africa including Aksum (Akusuom) in Ethiopa where the Ark of Covenant lay.
I am upset at the leaders of the State of Israel because they are well awarew of who the Igbo are and the fact that they are scattered all over Africa and the world. Unfortunately for them, the Bible does not lie. Our problem is that people have refused to read the Bible with the desire to understand it and those who read the English Bible pronouce the Hebrew names in the Bible as if they are Europeans. The Children of Israel were never Europeans and English language is the polar opposite of Hebrew. People must remember that The Igbo names of the Bible are anglicised Hebrew names in which the authors avoided many unique Hebrew vowels and consonants that can be properply placed only by those who speak Igbo.

I honestly believe all African people are Ethiopian Hebrew Israelites. Ethiopian Hebrew Israelites = 1/2 so called Semitic and Hamitic Ethiopians. Ibo = Hebrew, but Ibo also = Ethiopians.

Please tell me the exact original language of our people. The quest/key was given to me. It has taken me too many years to realize it but I pray that one day I will learn and teach it to my children.
I want to read our books that was taken and kept here in America and read them for myself.
There is more I want to ask or tell how I ended up here but I do not want to, say the wrong thing because I do not want to offend. I am still learning. Teach me what you know or direct me to where I must go to learn.
