OTTAWA — With spurs, sword and swirls of white and crimson, the Knights Templar began a new priory in Ottawa this weekend.
The Priory of Simon Peter is the third such group in Canada, and one of several hundred worldwide dedicated to upholding the chivalry of the centuries-old order. More specifically, they work to keep Christianity alive in the Holy Land.
The sunny May afternoon, the tuxedos and formal wear, even the bagpipe escort, gave the ceremony at the Canadian Forces Uplands chapel the air of a wedding rather than an ancient rite.
The six men and four women joining the Sovereign Military Order of the Temple of Jerusalem took oaths to “fight from this day forward to be a defender of the kingdom of Christ.”
Each came forward, knelt, and bowed slightly as a metre-long replica of a Templar sword alighted on the shoulders and head.
“Arise, sir knight” said officiant Ronald Matthewman, Grand Prior of Canada.
A traditional red cross on a crimson ribbon was placed around each postulant’s neck, then a white, floor-length cape was draped across their shoulders. Another officiant held aloft a pair of silver spurs, tapped them twice, then bent down to place them (momentarily) on each postulant’s heels.
The dames and knights all touched the hilt of the sword with the three central fingers of their right hand “as a sign of fidelity to the order.”

A lot of people killed others back then, If Pagans & Muslims where not killing Christian pilgrims then there would have been little need for such orders. Knights where just a direct response to a violent world and to ensure the continuation of Christianity.
Yes it was the Catholic church which destroyed such orders by there own greed and desire to procure there large wealth, how many soldiers through history have been betrayed by there governments?
According to some sources, Jewish nobility who were settled in Europe in 1050 a.d., orchestrated the crusades with the secret intention of recovering the vast temple wealth in Jerusalem for themselves. They were eventually successful in this and they perverted the Knights Templar into an international banking order who served Mammon rather than Christianity.
The Popes knew of this and were adamant that the knights return to their original purpose. The French and English kings knew of their vast wealth and international power and were equally adamant that they be given a generous share. The Knights Templar were attacked by the Pope and the Kings, and apparantly annhilated, but their wealth was never found, their intentions were secret and were probably directed in the interests of Jewish power in Europe.
The core organization of the Templars morphed secretly into The Freemasons, and eventually into the Illuminati, where they are today. It seems that they work to undermine the higher human freedoms and to destroy Christianity. Not all sources agree with this view.
LOOK HERE NONE OF THESE MAN MADE RELIGION WERE MENTIONED IN THE BIBLE SO ANYTHING NOT MENTIONED IN THE BIBLE IS PEGAN SO DON’T WASTE A PRECIOUS THOUGHT ON THIS TYPE STUFF.
