In 2010, Breitbart a US right-wing conservative Blogger published an edited video of a US agriculture department official, Shirley Sherrod, telling a civil rights advocacy group, NAACP, how she had once been reluctant to help a white farmer save his farm.

It soon emerged that the video was a gross and malicious smear, aimed to present a false impression that certain officials in the Obama administration, of African-American origin were racist. Sub-text here is that President Barack Obama is of African American background. The video also implied the erosion of white supremacy, the rise of black power, and made subtle appeal to so-called white angst and fear against the young Obama administration.

When watched in full without the edits, it turned out that Ms Sherrod’s story, in its full context, was one of racial understanding in which she realised her mistake, helped the farmer and befriended him.

Ms Sherrod, who is African-American, was fired because of the initial credibility given to Mr. Breitbart’s report. When it later emerged that she had been delibrately smeared by Mr. breitbrat on behalf of US right-wing extremists trying to get at the Obama administration, she was offered a new job in the department, and she also sued Breitbart for defamation.

The Voodoo sorority and fraternity of the first peoples of the earth observed all that had transpired and was displeased. It was decided that a curse was to be placed on Mr. Breitbart. His matter was handed over to the wrath of Mother Sehkmet, the lioness, also known as Kali, the Mother who vindicates and recompenses.

Word went out to Mr Breitbrat, who was asked to apologise but he refused. He was informed that pay-back would come for him within a short time, but he scoffed.

‘Passion and commitment’

Mr Breitbart continued his mudslinging against prominent members of the Obama administration and the Democratic party.

He made many high ranking enemies. He claimed he was driven by passion and commitment. He said that he loved making new alliances, but also loved making new enemies.

In one of his penultimate tweets – when asked if he had apologised to Ms Sherrod – Breitbart replied: “Apologize for WHAT?”

He died last Thursday, at the noon of his life. He was just 43 years old.

He had a heart attack after the first full year of his racist and malicious publication against Ms Sherrod.

One year after that heart attack, he stumbled and died on the streets on his way home after work. His relatives have issued a report that the death was “natural”.

Ms Sherrod spoke of her surprise upon learning of Breitbart’s death on Thursday.

She told US political website Talking Points Memo: “My prayers go out to Mr Breitbart’s family as they cope through this very difficult time.”

Ms Sherrod is a practising Christian. She knows not much about the traditional Africa Roots and Culture. But because of the signs of these times, because of the roots of her origins, because of the brazeness in the way she had been wronged, Mother Sekhmet took an interest in her case.

Sekhmet is the avenging lioness. She is the striking arm of Ras, who lives in the sun. She gives voice to the voiceless, and force to those who have no arms.

  1. So, you’re arguing that Sekhmet killed Mr. Breitbart? The ancient Egyptians were a lot more conservative than modern-day republicans are. They were led by pharaos (monarchs), and had both a caste system and slavery. Besides, Voodoo does not believe in the ancient Egyptian gods. They believe in one supreme god and many loas. On a side note, there is no evidence to suggest that his death had a supernatural cause. He died from a cardiomegaly, or an enlarged heart.
