Are you frustrated with the recent problem with the Mini Ad Spot Module? Are you constantly being redirected to the mainpage of the control panel after you save your changes?

If you experienced any of these discomfort, follow the method outlined below to get the module to save your changes. This is a temporary solution until the developer fixes the code.

If you are using the Mini Module with PHP5 and noticed that it does not save your changes, try this trick. You do not need to fire up your phpMyAdmin for this tutorial.

This is a bug in the module that resets the radio buttons to “No” when you try to make changes.

I am thankful to my host who came up with this temporary solution.

This is the step by step guide to get the Mini Module to save your changes:

1. Login into your Joomla backend.

2. Find the extensions link on the top navigation bar

3. Select Modules Manager (You will be presented with a list of installed modules. Find the Mind Ad Spot Module and open it.)

4. Make your changes and hit “Apply”

5. You will be redirected to the control panel. Don't worry!

6. Click on the browser “Back” button. You will be taken back to the module edit page.

   
   Something to Remember:
   When you press the browser “Back” button, it changes all the “yes” enabled ads to “no.” To make sure that the ads you want to show are visible on your website, make sure you enable them again. Also, make sure that the module is published on All or some of the menu.

7. Make your changes and check that your ads are enabled. Also, select the menu where you want the module to appear..

8. Click “Apply” to save the changes. Your changes are now saved.

9. Check your website to make sure everything is working.
