2 million fish dead in the Chesapeake Bay, Maryland, United States

The Maryland Department of the Environment says an estimated 2 million fish have been reported dead in the Chesapeake Bay, from the Bay Bridge south to Tangier Sound.

The dead fish are mainly adult spot, with some juvenile croakers.

Officials say they are investigating but suspect that cold weather killed off the fish instead of problems with the water quality…

  1. The silvery white colored drum don’t eat all of their food from the river bottom sometimes
    they are caught on artificial lures also.Redwinged blackbirds & Grackles are two
    of my favorite birds because of their colors and intelligence.Yes these are worldwide
    occurences…global warming or is Haliburton,CIA,MOSSAD,KGB,MI-5,testing some
    sinister virus on earth?
