Do you want to make a difference and contribute to the success of the Africa Knowledge Project, an online educational resource on Africa and its Diaspora?

The Africa Knowledge Project was started to address the large gaps of inaccurate documentation and representation of Africa, and its people. We do that by publishing peer-reviewed journals and curated subject databases that highlight some of the best research in the field.

Going against the Euro-American standard knowledge production that represents Western world-views and research interpretations as central and global, we move to a holistic approach that places Africa at the center of its own knowledge-producing activities.

We insist on using ideas, concepts, bodies of thoughts that are centrifugally Africa-based to theorize it. We unearth, publish, and highlight amazing researchers who are doing critical work in gender, culture, philosophy, politics, art, music, language, the Biafran war (Nigerian Civil War), and all the areas that are West Africa.

We need volunteers in these areas:

  • Editorial Assistant
  • Social Media Coordinator
  • Copy Editor
  • Scholar Outreach

If you are interested in any of these positions, or if you have a special skill that you think will help, please email me, Dr. Azuka Nzegwu at azuka at africaresource dot com. I look forward to connecting with you.
