Broome County premier and screening of The Witches of Gambaga by Fadoa Films. The award-winning documentary was directed and produced by Yaba Badoe, a Ghanaian-British documentary filmmaker and writer. The film director, Yaba Badoe will be in Africa House to premier and discuss the film. After the screening, there will be a discussion with the filmmaker addressing the issues raised in the film.

The film screening is sponsored by Visions Federal Credit Union, Department of Africana Studies, Anthropology Department, Women's Studies Program, and The Institute for Advanced Studies in the Humanities at Binghamton University, and Tioga State Bank.

There will be a drum and dance workshop with Ghanaian Master Drummer, Kwadzo Tagborlo, Pierrette Aboadji, African dance instructor and Dr. James Burns, both from Binghamton University.
