The Yahweh Fraud (Part 1) – Yemisi Ogunsola

MANY Bible readers do not know that about five clearly different Hebrew words have been deliberately mistranslated into the English Bible as “God”. And that none of these five words means “Supreme Being”.

Rather, every one of these words refers to deities or gods.

These Hebrew words are El (also El Elyon), el, eloah, elohiym and Yahweh.

When about 200 years before the birth of Jesus, 70 (or 72) Jewish scholars gathered in Alexandria, Egypt, to make the very first translation of Hebrew religious texts into Greek, they found themselves in a dilemma.

Contrary to the “monotheism” preached by the Jewish faith (Judaism) in which their national deity, Yahweh, was touted as the “one and only God,” the translators found clear records in the texts of many superhuman beings called elohiym (gods) who took interest in, or took charge of the affairs of individuals or nations.

The records also showed that Yahweh was the personal name of just one of these elohiym each of whom was called an el or eloah. And that each of these elohiym had his or her personal name. The chief of these elohiym, according to the texts, was not even Yahweh, but another entity entirely, called El or El Elyon.

An accurate translation of these texts into Greek, the widely spoken language of those times, would deal a great blow to the Jewish faith. Not only would it expose the fallacy of the brand of monotheism preached by Judaism, it would also reduce Yahweh to the status of the gods and goddesses of other nations —- nations, which the Jews had always branded “idol worshippers.”

The Jewish scholars did not want these to happen. So they took a most patriotic —- but fraudulent —- decision: to doctor their translations to agree with the Jewish brand of monotheism, which claims that Yahweh, their local deity is the “one and only God” of the whole universe, while the deities of all other nations are demons or mere idols —- or totally non- existent.

They did accordingly.

They translated those five Hebrew words variously as it suited their purpose.

*Anywhere they saw the word elohiym (the plural form of el or eloah), meaning deities or gods, the Jewish scholars mistranslated it into Greek as Theou _ a singular word meaning “God” with capital letter “G”.

But they translated the same word correctly as gods when it refers to the elohiym of other nations.

Thus elohiym is mistranslated as God instead of gods in the very first sentence of Genesis; in Exodus 3:1; in Genesis 32:28 etc., but correctly as gods in Psalm 82:6; in Deuteronomy 32:17; Exodus 23:13, etc.

*The translators began referring to Yahweh as God such that “Yahweh told Moses” becomes “God told Moses” (e.g. Exodus 3:14) and actually translated Yahweh as God or the LORD (all capitals) or left it as Yahweh.

*They correctly translated el or eloah of other nations as god but translated same words incorrectly as God when it refers to the el or eloah of Israel.

Thus, while “el Philistine” is translated as “god of the Philistines”, “el Israel” is translated “God of Israel.”

As an example of how very misleading this can be, “el Philistine” in the Yoruba Bible is “Orisa awon Filistini” but el Israel” becomes “Olorun Israeli”, instead of “Orisa Israeli”.

*They translated El or El Elyon, the chief of all Canaanite gods also as God or God Most High (or Most High).

This way, the translators craftily erase this entity and prevent his identification as an authority separate from and by far superior to Yahweh their own local god.

For instance, the “Most High God” in Genesis 14:18 (whose priest was Melchizedeck), the “Most High” in Deuteronomy 32:8 and the “God” in Psalm 82:6 all refer to El Elyon, not Yahweh god of Israel.

The overall result of this deliberate mistranslations is a totally misleading impression/concept that Yahweh=Elohiym=God=God Most High.

The end product of this heavily flawed translation was The Septuagint (LXX), the first authorized compilation of Hebrew religious texts in Greek.

It is a document produced by the Jews about the Jews. Why must anybody take their word for it?

But evidently, the Christian Church did.

And this heavily racial and flawed document later got incorporated into the Christian Bible as the “Old Testament.”

And because it is in the Bible, the typical simple-minded Christian considers it “perfect”.

And so, today, millions of Christians sing praises of Yahweh (Jehovah) as God Almighty, not knowing they are worshipping a mere orisa “idol”—- the local deity of the ancient Israelites.

The concept of God, the Supreme Being, is so crucial and fundamental to our lives that any misconceptions about it can do incalculable harm to our worldview. This is, especially so, when the misconception is an impersonation of that most elevated being by a local deity of such a violent nature as Yahweh.

For instance, many Bible readers have been led to believe that the unprovoked attacks and invasion of other nations by the ancient Israelites and the blood-curling slaughter of women and children were ordered by God, the Supreme Being.

That is a lie.

It was Yahweh, the local deity of the Jews, one of the most blood-thirsty deities, who ordered those massacres. African gospellers especially, should carefully distinguish between the humanistic gospel of Jesus of Nazareth and the clannish inhumanity of the Israelite deity, Yahweh, which has brought on both the Jews and the rest of the world the very worst of human calamities.

It is difficult to believe that the highest hierarchy of the Church is unaware of this “God fraud.” After all, the translators of the new Living Translation of The Holy Bible, Tyndale House Publishers, admit in the introduction to that version that: “All appearances of ‘el, ‘elohim or ‘eloah have been translated as “God” except where the context demands the translation “god(s).”

And that context, as already pointed out, is whenever these words refer to nations other than the Israelites —- that is, all other nations of the world.

Fortunately, however, this “God fraud” was not perfectly executed. Many Old Testament passages and expressions give away the mistranslations.

For instance, the frequent occurrence of the expression “God of Israel” “God of Jacob” shows that the Hebrew words translated as “God” were never originally used as proper names like Yemi or Julius, but were generic terms like “Protector” or “guardian”. There can be many protectors or guardians.

Indeed, many of the elohiym acted as protectors of peoples or individuals with whom many of them signed pacts or “covenants.” It was common practice in ancient times for nations or races to sign pacts (covenants) with these gods.

Baal, one of the more charismatic gods with whom Yahweh competed bitterly for the affections of the Israelites, was called “Baal-of-the-covenant” by the people of Shechem with whom he apparently signed a pact.

Yahweh was simply one of these gods who took charge of the affairs of the Israelites —- after a covenant with their leaders on Mt. Sinai. There was nothing special about Yahweh “choosing” the Israelites.

To say, therefore, that the Israelites were the “chosen people” of a deity called Yahweh would be correct. But to call them the “chosen people of God” is fraud.

  1. El is a term referring to the “high god” in the Canaanite, Phoenician, Urgarit language. The Hebrews and their neighbors in the ancient Mesopotamian Fertile Crescent region were all related linguistically and genetically. The Hebrews who descended from Abraham who came from Ur in Southern Mesopotamia in what is now called Iraq. These Semitic (who were related to Shem) used the word “El” to refer to any god considered a high god. But as scholars know, every god has a proper name, the Hebrews came to call their “El” by the proper name Yah’weh. Because Yah’s attributes were considered many, “Elohim,” the plural form of “El” was used. But to show that their God was singular, they never changed this deity’s proper name “Yah’weh” into a plural form. For those who claim that these terms were always used separately, they need to check out the Hebrew of Genesis chapter 18 where the word “Elohim” and “Yah’weh” are both used by Abraham . In Europe, the “J” came to replace the “Y” and the tetragrammaton rendering of the word became Jehovah.
And for those who assume that this God is a “white” god, they need to read Daniel 7:9 and Daniel 10:6. God is a Spirit as stated in John 4:24, but He took on the form of a servant, he equated himself in physical form to those considered to be the lowest, or from the earth. In effect, he equated himself with humility and those oppressed. Even Egypt and Assyria will eventually become reconciled with Israel. (Isaiah 19:4,23-25)

  2. Yahweh come from the words Ea Hu which mean that which is made by Ea. Ea is the name for god Enki of the Sumerians who created (actually He manipulated the existing primate’s DNA to convert it into us) humans. Enki (Ea) together with his half sister Ninhursag and a team of biological engineers created us as human beings. Any advanced genetic can attest to the fact that there is a quantum leap in our DNA that could not be the works of mere evolution, it does not matter if one million years of evolution had passed… Somebody (Enki/Ea and his team of engineers) did that…

  3. Hello there, i do agree 100% on what you have been telling,
I have been looking all conference from Mauro Biglino and he says the same as you describe.
No one knows the truth concerning the manifestation of our world….
I think that all Elohim are or were in blood and flesh, maybe another civilization????
i do not know but for sure they where not god’s….

  4. The part that upsets me is that “Yahweh” (i.e. “Jehovah) insists on going by the name of “Yahweh-Yireh” and “Jehovah-Jireh” (The Lord who Provides) and “Yahweh-Rapha” and “Jehovah-Rapha” (The Lord who Heals), even though I personally have not been “healed” of epilepsy and I know of plenty of people who were not “healed” and who were not “provided for.”

In the end, you learn through experience that it is a waste of time to pray to Yahweh and/or Jesus asking for specific things – even things that agree with what appears to be something “Yahweh” has promised in the Word of God.

For example, every preacher on TV will tell you Yahweh is “The Lord who Provides” and that if you sow a seed you will reap a harvest. I have done that many times. But, I saw no form of “harvest” such as a healing.

In fact, I even was able to defeat both Trinity Broadcasting Network and Breakthrough with Rod Parsley in separate lawsuits, because of the lies and false promises they made on TV. TBN was asking for a $2,000 donation to help reach the people of Iraq with the message of “salvation” that only their satellite broadcast could deliver. So, I donated – as an act of “faith” that I hoped would be enough to move Yahweh to keep His promise as “The Lord Who Heals.” Well, three years later, I was reading the news on Yahoo and I found indisputable proof that Saddam Hussein completely controlled the media in Iraq! TBN was not being received as a message at all in Iraq! I was able to successfully prove this in court and get my $2,000 back from TBN.

After defeating TBN in court, I contacted Breakthrough with Rod Parsley. Their attorney told me, “Just because you beat TBN in court doesn’t mean you will beat us in court.” Breakthrough with Rod Parsley knew I would likely win, so they offered me “half” of what I gave. Gee, how noble of these representatives of Yahweh and Jesus. You would tend to think the moral thing to do would say, “Sorry about the confusion, here is a refund.” Instead, these so-called “Christians” fought aggressively to keep every penny. So, I took the matter to court. I then got a phone call from Breakthrough with Rod Parsley offering to “settle” for two-thirds of what I donated. At that point I felt it would be easier to just accept this “settlement,” so I did. But, it truly shows what pieces of garbage the organization known as Breakthrough with Rod Parsley are.

I have been to “crusades” of people such as Benny Hinn. I have seen people personally leap as if they were “slain in the spirit.” But, I and those around me were not “slain in the spirit.” Later, those people said they personally used their own power to fall backwards “as an act of faith” rather than actually being “slain in the spirit” by the power of Yahweh.

I would offer some advice to people regarding the subject of prayer, because I have spent many hours praying each day for decades. Don’t waste a lot of time praying. Ultimately, the only thing you need to pray to Yahweh is, “May your will be done.” The reason for this is because that is the “only” way a prayer will be granted anyways!

I say this because I spent a great deal of time praying over the years. I was told things and studied lessons that revealed “God only answers prayers that agree with the Word of God.”

For example, if you pray for knowledge, wisdom, understanding, faith, hope, love, mercy, grace, endurance, strength, courage, and that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, those prayers agree with the will of God found in the Word of God and will be answered. The fundamental problem is that each of these is very generic and have virtually no way of knowing if the prayers are being answered or not.

Another example is that you can pray to be blessed mentally, physically, emotionally, spiritually, and financially. The first four are very generic and have no way of knowing if the prayers are being answered or not. But, you will know it if you are being blessed financially or not. This is where Yahweh – Jehovah-Jireh, the Lord who Provides – often comes up short.

Another example is the prayer for “cancellation of debt.” Debt is something that can be measured in a quantitative way, just like finance. But, you can only pray for “cancellation of debt” for so long before you come to the realization that you would statistically win the lotto before Yahweh eventually received glory He did not deserve for the cancellation of your debt.

One common example is when people say, “I was praying that my debt would be cancelled and God answered that prayer.” What they actually are describing is that a family member passed away, which allowed them to receive an inheritance. In reality, the one and only person or entity who deserves glory or thanks is the person who earned that money. I say this because I have seen people who didn’t have “inheritances” to rely upon, and their prayers were not answered as they had nowhere to go.

Another classic example is the way people pray asking to receive something such as a job promotion at work. If the prayer is answered, Yahweh gets the “praise” and “thanks.” If the prayer is not answered, the people hear “God just has something better waiting for you.” In that scenario, you must ask “Why did I bother wasting time praying for this specific job promotion then?” You come to the realization, “It would have simply been better to pray for ‘God’s will to be done’ and leave it at that.”

The bottom line is, you simply need to pray and ask the Lord Jesus to forgive you of all sins. After that, I now truly believe it is a waste of time to pray for specific things – even things found in the Word of God. For example, you could pray for prosperity, health, healing, knowledge, wisdom, understanding, faith, hope, mercy, grace, the fear of the Lord, favorable disposition with the world and the wicked so you can plunder them, cancellation of debt, a spouse, to be fruitful and multiply, and many other things that take a great deal of time to audibly say in prayer. However, you quickly learn that even things found in the Word of God – such as healing and prosperity – are not granted in prayer if they are not “the will of the Yahweh.” So, you may as well save yourself a lot of time in audible prayer by simply praying, “Lord, I pray for your will to be done” and leave it at that.
