Your cognizance of history is still very elementary so it is best that I deal with your issues instead of the eminent author of the article. The Moors did not conquer Iberia in the course of the Muslim invasions. The Muslims were called Moors because they was already a people who had been living in Spain and southern Italy of Moorish descent for thousands of years. Spain in particular is a Moorish autochtonous territory. If you have ever heard of the Ibero-Maurisians, or the Capsian culture, you will realize that Africans have been living in Spain as the owners of that land ever since man was created.

The Goths and the Visigoths, are the real immigrants and conquerors. Your type came originally from Turkemensitan and then swamped Europe during the time Roman Empire fell. It was only then, just in 4th century A.D. that the first pale skin Goths appeared in Spain.

I read your interesting Version of “the Moor story.” I have to say; with all sensitivity being atributed to People being conquered or ruled by Portuguese/Spanish or any regimes.
I found it very bias and ignorante to the Fact, that you did not mention how the Moors came to be in Iberia?
Did they take a bus there ?
Did Alah drop them there out of the sky?
Why did they decide to leave there African continent for another ? not enough room there?
The people that where in iberia where not Moors or African ?
Just like the Romans before, another Cell of Invaders came in and Conquered.
