Read on one site that the Ainu are very athletic...sounds like stereotyping prevalent in other cultures.Some of the broadest noses on earth & some say tropical climes encourage that trait.A lot of Tibetans have broad noses in a cold climate...sounds like some groups must've interbreeded extensively.
