The general presence of africans all over the world is a fact of life and science but how did africans travel that far is another issue altogether. It is now generally accepted that africa was a super state with predominant civilisation over 8000 years ago and prior the arabic and western attacks and annexations in the later years, africa enfluenced the whole humanity. Therefore during the imperial era the spread of africans was mainly free and advanturous due to its unique dominant and civilising position in the world. In the recent history facts indicate that after enslavement most of african movement was more out of their control but called by duty or by escaping from colonial wars and strife. It will then be clear that it no longer mattered whether africans came to the outside worlds like India, the Americas as conquerors or the conquered. The common denominator has always been about africans advanced science, kingdoms, spirituality and education that predated any other civilisation, in any case the generally accepted scientific fact that africa is the cradle of human beings is interesting and bedevils the debate about the ubiquity of africans all over the world. Serious unbiased studies can only reveal how close and similar humans in furthering the need to share and coexist on the basis of truth, respect, fairness and justice to all.

Another interesting fact for you- Most Goans are descended from Indian, Portuguese and Africans. Good records for these exist in the churches of Goa

What a coincidence to find this.
Saw the new advertisement of a bike on TV which refers to the village in Gujarat, showing african origin people speaking fluent Gujrati :) .. Now i know..

But i visited this page on another quest, reading about Ferishta's History of Deccan. more precisely the pages on SULTAN MEERAUN HOUSSEIN NIZAM SHAW.
This might be useful to you as well..

"Jemmal Khan became more clamorous, and sent persons to proclaim through the city, that the minister, aided by his foreign mercenaries, having deposed their sovereign, had seated another prince on the throne and if he was allowed in this manner to make kings, and all uncontrolled, the native nobles and inhabitants of the country would soon become Haves to foreign adventurers. The Dekkan troops and people, inflamed by this report, fled to arms, and in a short time about five thousand horse and foot, with a numerous mob, flocked to Jemmal Khan. They were also joined by all the Ethiopian troops.
"

Further a line says
" The Dekkanees, Ethiopians, and populace, having entered the fort, put to death every foreigner they found within, who amounted to nearly three hundred, and among them were several persons of high rank and eminent charadlers."

My main purpose though is to find a painting, sketch refernce of how a ethopian soldier, nobel around 1570-1580 look like. As i am planning on doing a painting on this..
Please point me to right resources.
If you need more of the above document, mail me, i will forward the same
