Peppers, Curmin (Culinary Spices) Will Keep breast Cancers Away from You – Jide Uwechia

A new study done at the University of Michigan Comprehensive Cancer Center just demonstrated that combining the compounds derived from two spices — pepper and turmeric — could help prevent breast cancer by limiting the growth of stem cells that promote tumor growth. Pevention before occurence is always the best practice of medicine.

In laboratory testing, when curcumin (from turmeric) and piperine (from black peppers) were applied to breast cells, the number of stem cells decreased. However, there was no changes in normal cells, they remained unaffected and preserved.

This is another instance where it appears that dietary compounds can coome to the rescue of women in a particular and humanity in general. Curcumin and piperine have very low toxicity and can be consumed on a daily basis for prevention.

The implication is that these compounds can effectively target potentially problematic cells and eliminate them at the embryonic stages before they ever grow into any threat for the body. The compounds can be described as a non-toxic bio-chemical prophylatic against cancer.

The alternative that exists in modern science of today is a sham. Chemotherapy drugs like tamoxifen or raloxifene, are very toxic and kill faster than some cancers. Many women in peril have refused to have naything to do with those drugs once they have tried them and felt their deleterious effects.

Now, with confirmed news of not only the potential of these two dietary compounds as cancer treatment, but also cancer prevention, it appears that 21 st century roots and herbal healing will lead the way to freedom from the tyranny of breast cancer.

In many societies in Africa and India where peppers and heavy spices are used in daily cooking, incidents of breast cancer are very low to non-existence. And again this is not surprising, since it is now clear spices such as pepper and turmeric act against breast cancer. According to Dr. Madhuri Kakarala, the study’s lead author:

“If we can limit the number of stem cells, we can limit the number of cells with potential to form tumors.”

It appears that we have found a way to finally prevent this scrouge of modern women. Pepper and turmeric. And other spices which we shall be covering in the coming months.
