In my humble opinion the neo-liberal globalized economic structure has fostered:

a) Crass consumption- equated with success. Buy, buy, and spend! Buy to maintain economic growth. From the time one wakes up till bedtime, one is bombarded with a market that wants your money.

b) Indifference towards truth-people in the west and even Africa are kept entertained out of their wits multi-media style. Trashy music, movies, pornography, infotainment etc. This keeps people sedated and confused.

c) Poverty & indebtness- People are kept poor through outright hunger, joblessness and indebtness. In the west, most people have to juggle 2-3 jobs to keep afloat. In the third world we jobless but still bombarded with the material success of the west-causing false aspirations and divisions.

d) Hence people are too tired/hungry to think, seek knowledge and this breeds the worst enemy: CYNICISM TO TRUTH & LOVE

e) Many black people FEAR THE TRUTH of I and I greatness for various reasons from the heavily brainwashed (if I say Jesus is Black then I am blaspheming and will land in Hades) to those benefiting economically and socio-politically from the status quo….

We all have a role to shine the light of truth and I thank the good people of Rastaliverewire for the good work and forgive I and I enemies as they inadvertently continue to sharpen I-ron!

So fight cynicism.

All very interesting and informative. One thing i would like to understand is, how will this information and debate benefit the future generations. Hopefully not splitting them as it has done here. I hope this can lead to an educational benefit and bring people together. What i feel isn’t needed is a widening of the gap between the human race or nations. Simple but true.
