Though Aryan-centric historians and revisionists have always tried to take credit for Greek achievements, any perusal of the original Greek sources will find them pointing back to their roots in Egypt and Ethiopia. Medicine is only one of many examples.

Thank you for your scholarship in compiling this information on the one and only Afrikan "father of Medicine". I think that this revealing of the truth will ultimately allow more Africanist to unravel the mystery surrounding African Traditional Medicine, and to document its rich history and legacy. I'm currently studying Nutritional Science as a prerequisite for a Naturopathic med school to practice natural medicine. I want to specialize in the ancient theories of the Afrikan Healers. At this moment, to my knowledge, we don't have an Afrikan centered medical discipline as we find in other cultures such as the Chinese Traditional Medicine or Aruveda. With the information presented here we clearly have the foundation of such a discipline. I want to be a part of the movement that revitalizes this ancient form of healing and medicine. Thank you again Brother Uwechia, peace and blessings.
