Beauty – The Psalms of Jide Uwechia

Beauty

The rich have all the monies
of this world under their control;
But beauty is not on their payroll
because beauty is a mystic force
that flows from within the soul
onto the surface of the outer skin.

Beauty is wealth that cannot be told,
riches that cannot be bought nor sold.
Beauty is not cosmetics and plastics,
it is truly a divine magic.

Beauty is conditioned power
desired by the high and the lower,
present only in devotion and discipline
and in the purity of heart of little children.

Beauty is that which conquered the soul.
Beauty is not correpondent
with control of silver or gold;
it is divine love and respledence,
that is not bought nor sold.
