The opening reception for The Black Aesthetic Exhibition at Akego and Sahara gallery will start at 6pm at Africa House.

Opening Reception of The Black Aesthetic

Join us for the opening night of The Black Aesthetic exhibition. The exhibition curated by Victoria Delaney features the works of Nnamdi Ijiomah, Azuka Nzegwu, Hersed, Louis Rosemont, Alphonsoe, Charles Saul, Philip Outten, D.J. Paillant, Jacque Francois, Almaan, Tomas George, J.J Calerbe in Akego gallery.

The textile exhibition in Sahara gallery features West African textiles and fabrics: Bogolon, Kente, Akwete, Adire, Akwa Ocha, batkis, and much more.

Dinner & Jazz

Dinner is Moi Moi, lamb, organic salad with slices of mango, puree squash and carrot soup, served with South African wine, Ethiopian coffee (gourmet), tea and dessert.

Noted musicians, flautist Donna Wood and jazz pianist Gene Cothran will perform live.
