The exhibition is curated by Dr. Nkiru Nzegwu. Philippe Dodard is an internationally acclaimed and multi-talented Haitian artist. This exhibition, “Philippe Dodard: Spirits of the Caribbean,” draws heavily from Haiti’s cultural roots and captures the dynamism, vibrant energy, and restlessness of this Caribbean island that taught the world the true meaning of freedom. Africa House is honored to showcase these paintings and drawings and celebrates an artistic vision that grasps the essence of forms.
