Sahara Gallery is located on the lower level of Africa House.

A call for submissions for "The Black Aesthetic" a juried and curated exhibition at Akégo and Sahara galleries in Endicott, NY. We are looking for sculptures, paintings, multimedia installation, and photography works that fit the theme of our planned exhibition. There is no submission fee. You should submit 24 slides or cd of images, artist statement and your biography. The deadline for submission is May 7, 2008.

Africa House recognizes the importance of exhibition as an enabling tool for artists growth and profeesional link. That is why we have created a platform to allow artists to submit their work for exhbition at Africa House.

We are compiling a glossary for all things on African Art. We welcome suggestions on the project.
