It's called Africa House, and it opened Friday in the heart of the Washington Avenue Central Business District in Endicott. It's mission is to present the highest quality of fine art from African artists, along with that continent's culture and history. In addition to its artistic offerings, the African Resource Center also offers a Boutique as well as rental space for a variety of events. |

Africa House invites artists to submit their artwork for the 2008 art exhibition, The Black Aesthetic. The art exhibition will be held in June and July 2008 at our gallery, Akégo and Sahara galleries.
