A poem from the poetry collection of Comrade Chidi Anthony Opara.
Fourth Estate of the RealmBy Chidi Anthony Opara Why do you cause pains? With reckless pens, With incubated fabrications Of fertile imaginations, Like incubus, Suppressing virtuous esteems. You are endowed with powers To poke at consciences Of conniving crooks, To pour virtues On corrupted consciences, And bring on earth, paradise. Your powers you display On scarlet shelves, To be priced and paid for. Why do you dance? Wine and dine, In the euphoria of alias, Alias of mockery, Fourth estate of the realm, Ha- ha-ha, Ho-ho-ho. |
