Journey to Nowhere
|
 |
|
Watch them go,
Helpless as they prowl
Without a home
Mobile bags of tired bones.
See them with gaunt expressions
Between the pit of depression,
The booming sound of gun fire
Destroying their innate desires.
They trudge on destination less
Rejected by nations loveless
Whose comfort is xenophobia
With weeping children and dead companions
Consumed in the inferno of hate
Casualties of senseless tragedies
Paying for unknown atrocities
Being refugees
Victims of a sad journey
A journey to nowhere. |
